The dog at pentrich
Nestled in the beautiful Derbyshire village of Pentrich is The Dog Inn. With a real log fire for those cosy Winter evenings and a large beer garden for long Summer nights, there is always a good reason to come back and soak up our welcoming atmosphere. Dating from the 16th Century, The Dog is a historic and much loved county pub serving a large range of cask ales and bar food, combined with a modern gasto high quality restaurant, led by Head Chef Adam Jones and his brigade of chefs.

CHILDREN - while we love children, we do not have a children's menu and the style of our food offered may not be to all children's tastes. However, if children are used to dining with their parents and are familiar with restaurant etiquette, they are welcome.
We can adapt some of our bar dishes to be suitable for children - please contact us to discuss.
Children must be age 12 and over to dine in our restaurant in the evening.
We do not have any highchairs or baby-changing facilities - you are more than welcome to bring your own.
CAKES - we allow cakes to be brought and candles lit, however, food safety guidance means you are unable to consume cakes here. We will happily bring you a knife and some napkins so you can cut your cake to give to guests.
